Finance Apprentice (Start ASAP)

Your role

This role will be growing one who will be starting their journey with Accounts Receivable and related reporting, and with ongoing upgradation of systems/finance transformation will be expanding to areas like FP&A and Business Partnering.

This person will be currently in support of the Team issuing internal client invoices. He will be closely collaborating with his project teams to obtain all required information and ensure the invoices are issued timely and accurately. He will report to the Lead Financial Analyst / Finance Manager and will be applying established processes & procedures as part of the deployment of the scope for the billing processes. He will support optimization and automation, always ensuring high standards.

Current responsibilities

• Prepare and Support internal invoices based on billing conditions and instructions.
• Issue and send clients invoices, including submission on the client self-service portal.
• Issue monthly statements of accounts for internal and external clients.
• Post and apply receipts to the relevant invoices.
• Support Team in resolving recurring issues and promptly responding to problems raised.
• Facilitate continuous improvement initiatives, support change management, and Finance Transformation.
• Develop a common understanding of problem-solving, root cause analysis, and people engagement practices.

Growth opportunities

• Assist in the preparation and reporting of the monthly management accounts.
• Support the month-end close process by working with the regional finance team.
• Oversee Internal trading analysis.
• Assist with the preparation of reporting presentation packs including insightful financial analysis.
• Continuingly improving reporting and adopting new group tools and processes.
• Build strong working relationships across all regional and finance teams.

About you

Requirements

• Excellent Knowledge of Microsoft Office.
• Basic knowledge of Oracle or another ERP system.
• Knowledge of Tally and Power BI would be an added advantage.
