Global Compliance and Reporting - EMEIA- Intern (Start ASAP)

Join EY as a Tax Analyst to validate client data and prepare financial statements, contributing to a better working world.

Your role

Key responsibilities as follows:

• Validate client data, including cash flow and financial information.
• Prepare draft income statements and balance sheets.
• Compute economic allocations and tax returns for hedge funds and mutual funds.
• Conduct security analysis and other tax adjustments.
• Prepare financial statements for CDO clients.
• Validate source data for non-English speaking countries.
• Ensure accuracy and quality of financial reports and tax computations.
• Draft information requests for the onshore team.
• Prepare annual reports and corporate tax returns.

About you

Candidates should possess:

• A degree in BCom, BBM, MCom, or MBA (Finance) with relevant experience.
• Strong statistical, analytical, and accounting skills.
• Good communication and interpersonal skills.
• Proficiency in MS Excel and basic knowledge of other MS Office applications.
• Awareness of US tax legislation is a plus.
