MSR India conducts research in a wide range of areas and Internships are available in all of them. While the internships are offered year-round, a majority of them begin in the summer. In the application process, they will try to find the opportunity that best aligns with your interests.

Responsibilities:

• Analyze and improve the performance of advanced algorithms on large-scale datasets and cutting-edge research in machine intelligence and machine learning applications. 
• Implement prototypes of scalable systems in AI applications. 
• Collaborate closely with team members on developing systems from prototyping to production level. 
• Develop solutions for real-world, large-scale problems.

About you

They are seeking candidates with research skills and technical backgrounds. Applicants should demonstrate depth of knowledge in Natural Language Understanding, Computer Vision, Machine Learning, Algorithmic Foundations of Optimization, Data Mining, or Machine Intelligence (Artificial Intelligence) as well as strong academic experience in data processing, experimentation, and modeling.

Required minimum qualifications:

• Bachelor's Degree (complete or in progress) in a relevant field or Master's Degree in a relevant field or equivalent experience.

Additional or Preferred qualifications:

• Master's Degree or PhD in a relevant field or equivalent experience.
• Experience publishing academic papers as a lead author or essential contributor.
• Experience participating in a top conference in a relevant research domain.
