Your role

Reviewing, drafting, and negotiating a full range of commercial contracts that may include some or all of the following:

  • Software Agreements;
  • Hardware Purchase Agreements;
  • Multimedia Agreements;
  • Services Agreements/Engagement Letters;
  • Training, Events, and Sponsorship Agreements;
  • NDAs; Termination Letters/Novation;
  • Renewals/Amendments/Schedules;
  • Legal Research - conducting legal research and assisting in other ad hoc project work.
  • Data Privacy - privacy impact assessment, review/negotiate data privacy exhibits and handle other miscellaneous tasks.
    • Assisting in the organization and maintenance of form/template contracts.
    • Handling large-scale contract remediation and data extraction projects.

Training and Development 

The MSFS Internship Program has been designed to develop highly motivated professionals by providing a stimulating and supportive environment to understand the business and achieve maximum potential.  On joining, you will go through a training program that covers business process and systems training.

Summer Associates spend eight-ten weeks working on live projects, understanding the business workings and how Investor Services supports Morgan Stanley and its businesses.

Work-Life Balance

Monday to Friday from 11.30 a.m. to 8.30 p.m. IST with flexibility on standard working hours for time-sensitive matters (including Indian public holidays). The company operates five days a week with an average of 55 working hours.

About you

To apply for this role you must have,

  • Excellent verbal and written English communication skills – Ability to effectively correspond with various groups and senior professionals over email and the telephone/VC.
  • Successfully meet established deadline requirements – display organization and efficient time management skills.
  • Attention to detail.
  • Candidate must be pursuing an LLB from any Law school preferably in the advanced stage of the program.
  • Good academic track record in all semester examinations.
