SAP Business Network represents a strategic investment and fast-growing area, with a strong and leading cloud portfolio and other innovations on top of the SAP Cloud Platform. Covering multiple locations around the world, we bring together a diverse team of talents from program management, product management, development, and production operations. Our vision is to build the next generation Unified Business Network. We are bringing all our business networks together to create a network of networks, a network of intelligent enterprises, to enable a new way of how companies engage with each other. Our Unit’s roadmap includes bringing together the existing networking solutions like Asset Intelligence Network, Logistics Business Network, and Ariba Networks into a single business platform and leveraging their respective capabilities.

Role

You will be working in a cross-functional team of talented, supportive, and motivated colleagues, following agile methodologies and industry best practices. You will be applying the latest technology and business trends in Business Networks to innovate the way assets are managed across their lifecycle.

You will have opportunities to work on cutting-edge technologies like Microservice-based applications and containers and also get to experience leading infrastructure & tools from AWS, Azure, AliCloud, and Messaging systems like Kafka.

As a Developer in our development team, you take responsibility for the following:

• Design, code, test and assure the quality of complex product features
• Show initiative and drive topics to resolution with a high level of quality, speed, reliability, and efficiency
• Work closely with peers and share expertise to ensure product success
• Constantly improve own work methods and gain expertise in agile software engineering skills
• Enhance skills beyond own core area of functional focus
• Good product and technical knowledge
• Advanced knowledge of development processes and product standards
• Contribute to the team spirit by supporting an environment of continuous learning, exchanging of ideas & thoughts, and embracing a culture of innovation

Requirement

• Degree/master’s degree in computer engineering or equivalent subject with 1 to 3 years of experience in Java or UI Development
• Development experience in Java/J2EE / SAP UI5 / Java Script
• Exposure to Integration/microservice domain development
• Experience with continuous integration/continuous delivery concepts and tools such as Github and Jenkins
• Good knowledge of Java/ SAP Cloud Platform Integration is a plus
• Knowledge of test automation tools and concepts is a plus
• Strong grasp of database system such as SAP HANA is a plus
• Experience in working in an Agile Software development environment and teams
• Must possess technical skills, communication skills, and independent decision-making skills.
• Willingness for lifelong learning in combination with being curious about new technologies
• Results-driven – Have experience working as part of a high-performing team
