Your role

The key goals of AIS are to:

Run:

  • Protect the maintenance revenue of SAP by providing efficient maintenance and high-quality code corrections to all SAP customers.

Innovate:

  • To deliver high-quality product enhancements based on product improvement initiatives like customer connection. Develop new releases with excellent quality according to product and process standards.

Transform:

  • Support integration across the SAP application portfolio based on demand.    
  • Help customers journey to the intelligent enterprise by being their trusted advisors.

Win with people:

  • Upskill as a team to stay relevant in the newer technologies.

User Assistance Development:

  • Creates user assistance (UA) deliverables in different types of media that enable users to deploy, administer, and use SAP software.
  • Core tasks include:
    • Planning, designing, developing, and editing different types of user assistance deliverables.
    • Researching information needs of users through collaboration both internally with subject-matter experts, as well as externally with users, for example by participating in customer engagement activities or usability tests.
    • Acquiring and organizing the collection of source information, such as functional specifications or user stories.
    • Preparing content for delivery following the standard production processes, including providing metadata.

About you

Education & Skill Requirements:

  • Experience & Language Requirements.
  • 0 to 3 years of experience in technical writing.
  • Ideally first-language proficiency in English, or excellent written and spoken skills in English, preferably with excellent written and spoken skills in one or more local languages.

Professional Training & Certification:

  • SAP applicant tests (as part of the standard recruitment process).
  • Learning Map for User Assistance Developers and Translators at SAP.

Education:

  • University degree (for example, in technical communication or a related subject, such as languages, translation, or media and communication studies).
